The Fox Valley Music Camp at Judson University in Elgin, IL is for grades K-12 and will be held June 25 – June 29, 2012. This is a week long day camp with optional overnight camp for high school students. Ensembles, music composition, lessons, mini-concerts, end-of-week camper showcase. Classical and Contemporary Tracks available for older students.

Fox Valley Music Camp

The Fox Valley Music Camp at Judson University

This week-long day camp for ages K-12 is held in Elgin, IL, June 27-July 1, 2011.

For K-2nd grade (half day) 9-12:30
Cost: $100

For Grades 3-12 (full day) 9-4:30
Cost: $200-$250

The camp offers private instrumental instruction,IMEA competition prep and both Classical and Contemporary ensembles.

Campers explore music history, theory and composition in addition to making music together. A recital concludes the week.

Dr. Cate’s Flute Camp

A week of fun learning about the flute by playing
in small ensembles, flute choir and private lessons.  They have
technique class daily and a special guest who teaches about a flute
from another part of the world, pool and pizza party, and concerts.

Saturdays from 11:00 am to Noon on 98.7WFMT Introductions is WFMT’s newest radio series that celebrates the Chicago region’s most talented pre-collegiate classical musicians. Saturday mornings from 11:00 am to noon, soloists and small ensembles perform live, while larger bands, orchestras and choruses are recorded at their home locations.
